Creating Groups in Subnet24

Overview #

This guide explains how to create and organize groups in Subnet24 for better IP management.

Steps to Create a Group #

1. Access the Application
   • Log in to app.subnet24.com
2. Navigate to Groups
   • Click on "IPs" in the left side navigation panel
3. Create New Group
   • Click the "+ Group" button
4. Enter Group Details
   • Fill in the required information:
     • Group Name: Enter a name for your group
     • Group Description: (Optional) Add a description of the group's purpose
     • Parent Group: Choose either:
       • "No Parent" to create a root-level group
       • Select an existing group to create a nested structure
5. Save the Group
   • Click "Save" to create your new group

Groups can be nested within other groups, allowing you to create a hierarchical structure for better organization of your IP addresses.
